The neighbourhood team have provided the following description of their work:

The Alver Valley Neighbourhood comprises of 2 distinctive area's the Lee-On-The-Solent wards and the Grange Ward which is known as Rowner .These are separated by The Alver Valley wildgrounds.Rowner is currently undergoing a major redevelopment. This will be ongoing over the next 3-5 years with over 700 new homes and a major superstore.

The Neighbourhood Team comprises of 1 Sergeant, 2 Constables and 3 police community support officer's. All of the team have a good relationship with the community and partners alike they work closely to resolve community issues as well as dealing with crime and disorder problems within the Neighbourhood.This has resulted in a fall in crime and disorder over the last 3 years.
