The beat is covered by the Romsey Neighbourhood Policing team, assisted by special constables who are passionate about reducing crime and ASB, protecting vulnerable people and targeting those who commit crime. You can influence local priorities by attending a beat surgery or public meeting, by email or calling 101.

There are a small amount of local shops and some industrial estates, across the beat there is a lot of farmland and agricultural businesses. The crime rate in all areas is comparatively low throughout and the main policing issues for the community are speeding through villages, thefts from farms and outbuildings and dwelling burglaries. The closest town to these villages is Romsey and the nearest city is Southampton and Salisbury.
